Abdur’s comments are extremely eloquent. His commentary on gentrification should be posted on every street corner. Everyone in the neighborhood (newcomers, long-timers, etc.) has a responsibility to set an example of community involvement, from going to meetings to simply saying hello to others on the sidewalk and keeping the neighborhood clean. This is truly an amazing place to live. And yes, the goal should be affordable ownership for all. Keep “Faces in the ‘Hood” going. It’s great!
