The restaurant is “Le Grand Dakar” and its offering of authentic Senegalese dishes will surprise and please patrons who are clever enough to visit and give it a try.

Pierre Thiam is the Chef and owner of Le Grand Dakar, which he opened in 2006. He was raised in Senegal, spending time in both the cosmopolitan city of Dakar and also in a rustic region in the coastal province of Casamance. Family meals were inspired by elegant Senegalese food as well as traditional French, Vietnamese and Moroccan cuisines.
