Thanks so much for this blog, I’ve lived in the neighborhood for going on 8 years, and I’ve seen so many changes happen. I used to love going to Bodegas on Fulton and Clinton – a place to see neighborhood faces and talk about what was going on in the neighborhood. I’m so glad your blog offers our community to come together and address issues – now if we can only take this into the street! I agree, a community organization needs to be created. Now, if we weren’t all working so hard to pay these rising rents, right?
I love Clinton Hill, this is my home now and I look forward to the discussions on your blog and finding out how I can contribute to the community more and more.
Ern,
Brooklyn has held me down for 6 ears strong. Not bad for a DC cat. Here’s my blog I was telling you about. Keep the spirit flowin’. Peace mane.

Hello Ernesto,
This is Daniel .I met you at Mirrors yesterday with my wife. Just wanted to thank you for introducing me to the site and the neighborhood.. You are a talented writer and have really given me a wonderful intro to the area.
Knowing nothing about the place besides liking the house and street we were on, it’s nice to see that we are moving into a place with such history..
I told you yesterday that the area does feel like the suburbs.. And in a sense it does, we feel like we are moving into a community. A community we intend on supporting and be apart.
Thanks for sharing your website.. Your Dad seemed like a super cool guy. Loved the photos of the two of you. You can see how happy you two were.. I am sure he is so proud of you.
All the best, hope to see you around,
Daniel
