Football Fans Unite at Brooklyn Tech

May 26, 2011

Come out tomorrow and show your football spirit when the Brooklyn Technical High School hosts its second annual Spring Football Fest at the Brooklyn Tech football field.  It’ll be at the filed on Clermont Avenue and Fulton Street and it’s a chance to support the players for the upcoming fall season.

They say that the Brooklyn Tech players will be there as part of the close of their off-season practices.  It is also intended to celebrate Coach Caitlin Wockenfuss’s cheerleading program. You can catch the Tech Cheerleaders performing their show-stopping routines and then get on the field for a great Brooklyn Tech Flag Football League Championship game. The game is against girls from the Brooklyn Tech upperclass and should be quite fun to watch or participate in.

Brooklyn Tech is hoping to stay competitive in the PSAL for seasons to come; and they’ve got a great lineup with which to do is with James Gales, defensive tackle Thomas Plonski and quarterback Kevi Shyti.

It’s a great, free way to enjoy your Friday afternoon from 3:30-6 pm. And, they’ll be giving away Brooklyn Tech swags and more.
